Doomscrolling 2: Doom Harder! transforms the digital feed into a walk-through installation. An oversized smartphone screen, illustrated standees and moving imagery immerse viewers in a relentless stream of news, advertising, memes and online culture.
The work uses humour and spectacle to examine the attention economy and the way algorithms compete for our focus by mixing the trivial with the catastrophic. By turning a private digital habit into a shared physical experience, the installation invites audiences to consider how technology shapes the way we consume information, emotion and each other.
